Hair grows from roots. Treatment can only help roots that are still alive. A scarred root cannot grow hair again. And hair fall, pattern thinning and scarring can look the same in a mirror. Looking at your roots first lets us tell you early, and honestly, if treatment is likely to help — before you book or pay for anything.

First you share a few details (name, mobile and address). Then we guide you, step by step, to photograph your hairline, crown and parting with your phone. Use soft daylight. Keep your hair clean, dry and loose. Turn off filters and beauty mode. The scan gives a first look at your roots and scalp. The doctor always makes the final call.

You see 1 of 3 results, with the reasons in plain words: treatment looks suitable, a doctor should look first, or treatment is unlikely to help the scanned areas. It looks at how thick and active your roots seem, whether hairs are getting finer, and how your scalp looks. It helps you decide what to do next. It is not a diagnosis.

We tell you clearly and explain why — for example, an area that has been bald for many years with very few active roots left. We will not push you to buy a plan. You can change your time for free up to 6 hours before it. Cancel more than 24 hours ahead and you get the full fee back. Later cancellations are not refunded, but you get 1 free change of time. Missed consultations are not refunded.

Hair changes slowly. It grows about 1 cm a month, and each hair grows for years. So doctors judge progress over months, not weeks. Skin-doctor research says pattern hair loss usually needs at least 4 to 6 months of daily use before people notice a change — and some people do not respond. Individual results vary. We never promise a timeline.

With some treatments, more hair can fall for a short time in the first few weeks. Resting hairs fall to make way for new ones. It can be worrying. If it happens, message us or mention it at your check-in. Please do not stop or change your routine before you talk to the doctor.

For pattern hair loss, most treatments help only while you keep using them. Skin doctors say that if you stop, you tend to lose the benefit over time. That is why Dr. Tyagi picks a routine you can keep up, and reviews it with you at follow-up.

They can help if something is really low, such as iron — and that should be fixed. There is little proof they help if nothing is low. Too much of some can even make hair loss worse. Biotin can also upset some blood tests, so mention it before a test. Your plan includes a supplement only if the doctor thinks you need it.

You can claim a full refund of your plan payments if you see no visible improvement and you did all of this: used your prescribed plan without a break for at least 3 months, replied to at least 75% of check-ins, sent progress photos every month and joined your follow-up consultation. Claim within 30 days of finishing the plan. A doctor reviews every claim.

Your scan, photos, health form and consultation notes are for your care. Your doctor sees them. Our support team helps with bookings, orders and delivery, and cannot see your health details. We never put health details in WhatsApp messages, email subject lines or marketing. Our messages just link to your private account.
